Stretch started Wild West Properties after a lifetime of ranching and has utilized his experience in ranching to specialize in marketing of ranches, farms and rural property in New Mexico and eastern Arizona. Wild West Properties celebrated it's 10th Anniversary in 2006 and will continue to serve it clients and customers who desire to buy or sell working cattle ranches, hunting ranches, recreational ranches, development property, farms, or dairies.

Stretch was born and raised on a 600 cow ranch in western New Mexico that was originally homesteaded by his grandfather, a German emigrant, in 1906. Stretch is a 1973 graduate of New Mexico State University with a Bachelors Degree in Range Science. Stretch took over the family ranch after his father's death and subsequently sold the ranch in 1990 and leased a 1000 cow ranch in western New Mexico until establishing Wild West Properties in 1995. His lifelong involvement in the ranching community and his contacts with classmates at NMSU has provided knowledge of the state and agriculture, which greatly benefits him in the marketing of ranches and rural properties. His greatest aptitude is his ability to provide service above and beyond what is expected for his clients.

Stretch unexpectedly left us and joined the Lord on April 4, 2007. His legacy lives on with his wife Linda, their four children and five grandchildren and his great love, Wild West Properties. Stretch touched many people in his life and will be remembered and greatly missed by untold numbers of people in the Southwest. Wild West Properties was his and Linda's creation and it will continue to provide quality service to the real estate industry in Stretch's honor. We will miss this man that lived by the Cowboy code of honesty, integrity and a firm handshake.

Joined Wild West Properties after a twenty-three year career as an Agricultural banker with the Farm Credit System. Specializing in real estate loans to farm, ranch and dairy operators in New Mexico and Colorado has provided Randy with an extensive knowledge of the intricacies of real estate transactions. This includes land valuation, water rights, access, public land leases, easements and other real estate issues.& His fifteen years as Branch Manager for Farm Credit of New Mexico also provided the opportunity to become very familiar with many of the farms and ranches located across the state, while developing a good relationship with landowners and other real estate professionals.

Randy grew up on a farming and ranching operation in southern Colorado and has remained involved in production agriculture throughout his banking career. His family’s background in agriculture goes back many generations and includes uncles that cowboyed for the legendary Colonel Charles Goodnight, founder of the historic Goodnight-Loving Cattle Trail.

Many years of real estate experience and a large network of contacts in the agribusiness and commercial business communities allow Randy to provide valuable assistance to those wanting to buy or sell all types of real estate.
